This article from 2011 written by certain Marcos Detourist on his blog shows/proves us how travelling to San Vicente has become much easier  now compared to the time he visited the place.
The title of his article is very interesting that I did not even hesitate to not read it. It goes like this...

Lost in Long Beach, Palawan: Longest Beach in the Philippines

2011 was the time when only few vans/shuttles were available...when trips to and from San Vicente is limited and hiring transportation is costly. Those were the times that heavy rains could ruin your sched and delay your travel because of the uncemented/under construction muddy road.

Looking back...so much have changed but it is guaranteed that every experience is different.

The tourism plan for San Vicente especially in Barangay New Agutaya is very impressive and overwhelming. Change is coming but it is also expected that the community will have a hard time accepting what is in front of them. At first it will be difficult, but the community being assured by the local government unit that they be not neglected, I believed they will learn to trust them and help them cope with change as San Vicente rise to its potential.
